All About Paddling Fun
Paddling Fun was started in 2012 once I earned my certification as a Paddling Instructor through ORCKA. Since then I have earned instructor certifications in Canoe Tripping (CTI2), Voyageur Canoe (VCI2), Canadian Style Paddling (CSPI1), Coastal Kayak (CKI1), Moving Water (MWI1), Bronze Cross, Wilderness First Responder (WFR) and Basic Paddling Instructor-Trainer. As I gained experience and qualifications, the business grew.

Paddling Fun is backed by $5 million in liability insurance through ORCKA, offering organizations confidence when partnering with us. Over the years, many clients have requested return programs, which I attribute to a pragmatic, learner-focused approach and a commitment to safety and quality instruction.

Paddling Fun serves participants from communities across Ontario, offering safe, engaging, and educational paddling experiences. I am dedicated to creating positive outdoor learning environments and ensuring participants gain confidence on the water. In 2023, I invested in a Voyageur canoe, which is enabling the business to expand programming and reach new audiences.
When I’m not on the water, I teach English as a Second Language. I am certified through TESL Ontario and currently teach locally at Fleming College and the New Canadians Centre, as well as internationally through online programs. I also work with The Land Canadian Adventures, welcoming international students to Canada and supporting their English learning while introducing them to paddling and outdoor skills.

Please explore the programs I offer and reach out if you are interested in working together. I would be delighted to help you and your group discover the joy of paddling!
